Bluetooth in a 2009 CC seems to have been optional. My CC does not have bluetooth but it does have the phone button on the left. That button is used to mute the stereo system so that you can pick up your handheld phone and answer it with the stereo muted. Disappointing when you are expecting your car to have bluetooth.

By the sounds of it, I suspect that your iPhone is connecting to your car's Bluetooth audio.
